5 Ways to Incorporate Pantone’s Color of the Year into Your Wedding

Pantone announced that the 2022 color of the year is ‘Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri’. This color is the first new color to be created in the history of the color of the year program.

Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone color institute says that “…the selection of PANTONE 1703938 Very Peri brings a novel perspective” …” of the beloved blue color family, encompassing the qualities of the blues, yet at the same time with its violet-red undertone” …” displays a spritely, joyous attitude that encourages courageous creativity…”

This shade reflects the truth of the people. In 2022, everyone is yearning for a new beginning and Very Peri is there to reflect that visually. And there is no better representation of new beginnings than a wedding. In this blog, we’ve listed 5 unique ways to incorporate this beautiful color into your wedding this year.

(1) Monochrome Floral Arrangements

This is great for modern brides who want to use the color, without it being right on the nose. Pairing the color with shades of cream, dark purple, and lavender creates a stunning look that will elevate the space.

(2) Photo Booth (Photo Spot)

Give yourself and your wedding guests a cute spot to take photos during cocktail hour and reception.

(3) Drapery

Pipe and drape areas of your ceremony and reception with very peri-colored drape. Depending on your venue, draping can be a great way to create a more romantic ambiance. It can also be used to create separation in open spaces.

(4) Very Peri Up Lighting

Light up your reception space with very peri-up lighting.

(5) Colored Glassware

Glassware is a unique way to dress up your dinner tables aside from the normal colored linens.
